JBT Food & Dairy Systems BV, part of JBT, specializes in equipment that extends the shelf life of packaged foods. Our ICS team focuses on new builds, retrofits, service support, and spare parts for sterilization systems.

As an Inspection Engineer, you will perform detailed assessments of ICS units, ensuring they comply with all relevant safety and performance standards. Your responsibilities include analyzing equipment functionality, identifying potential issues, and recommending tailored improvements. Based on your evaluations, you will propose solutions such as:

• Upgrades: Advising on system updates to improve sustainability, safety, performance, or incorporate modern technologies.
• Maintenance Plans: Outlining preventative or routine maintenance schedules to enhance reliability and longevity.
• On-Site Support: Offering hands-on training and technical assistance to enhance customer knowledge and equipment efficiency.

Your role includes compiling comprehensive reports that detail findings, suggested improvements, and follow-up actions. You will work closely with internal teams to address customer needs and maintain equipment reliability.

When not inspecting equipment, you will assist with installing and commissioning new systems or retrofits, ensuring they operate effectively from the start.

• Strong technical expertise with relevant education and experience.
• Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, control, and precision systems.
• Background in process systems and maintenance (knowledge of control systems like Siemens S7, TIA Portal, or Allen Bradley is a plus).
• Ability to write thorough inspection reports and conduct detailed evaluations.
• Experience in machinery or food processing industries is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 70% of the time.
• Fluency in English for professional communication; additional languages (Dutch, French, or Spanish) are a plus.
• Valid category B driving license.
• Living near Amsterdam or surrounding areas.
• Flexibility to work extended hours and adapt to challenging environments, including heights or confined spaces.
