• Define and manage functional safety requirements across system components
• Support compliance with safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262, ASIL levels, ASCE 21)
• Conduct hazard and risk analysis (HARA), FMEA, and fault tree analysis
• Collaborate with project and software teams to design safety-related features
• Lead safety validation and verification efforts
• Coordinate with third-party assessors and certification bodies
• Document safety concepts and ensure traceability throughout the project lifecycle

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or similar
• 3+ years experience with functional safety in automotive or robotics
• Knowledge of safety standards (ISO 26262, IEC 61508, ASIL, ASPICE)
• Experience with safety lifecycle activities, risk assessments, and verification
• Familiarity with safety tools (Medini, Safety Architect, etc.) is a plus
• Analytical thinker with a proactive mindset and attention to detail
• Team player with strong documentation and communication skills
