You'll work with a wide range of technologies: from mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics to electrical engineering and control systems. As a Service & Maintenance Technician, you'll handle diverse technical challenges every day. You'll perform custom modifications on vehicles or systems, troubleshoot malfunctions, and carry out scheduled maintenance. Of course, you'll test your work and ensure everything functions flawlessly. Working with modern technology, you'll also actively contribute ideas for solutions. Sometimes you'll work independently, other times with a colleague. Always with a strong focus on quality.

Your main tasks will include:

  • performing maintenance, service, repairs, testing, and adjustments
  • hydraulics, mechanics, electrical engineering, and modern control systems.
  • designing and implementing custom solutions for vehicles and systems.
  • handling administrative processing of all completed tasks.

In short: not standard work and not standard days, but plenty of variety where you'll learn something new every day.





Job Requirements

You are an experienced technician who enjoys hands-on work and takes responsibility. You work accurately, think in solutions, and can operate both independently and as part of a team. You proactively think along to prevent malfunctions from recurring.

You also bring:

  • a completed vocational (MBO) education, preferably in Agricultural Engineering, Vehicle Technology, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • relevant work experience in machine or equipment construction or in a workshop. Affinity with heavy-duty vehicles and/or special vehicles is a plus.
  • good command of English. Preferably Dutch as well.

Salary and Benefits

We are a stable, international, family-owned company where you are seen, can be yourself, and have every opportunity to grow.

We do NOT have on-call shifts or rotating shifts. You'll work weekdays during the day, always with Friday afternoons off.

You can also expect:

  • asalary between €3,250 and €4,000 (depending on your skills and experience).
  • a bonus of up to 3% of your annual salary including holiday allowance, based on company results and your individual performance.
  • 8% holiday allowance + 25 vacation days (based on a 38-hour workweek).
  • travel allowance of €0.23 per km.
  • participation in the Metal Industry Pension Fund (with two-thirds of contributions paid by Terberg).
  • a one-year contract with the intention of a permanent position.
  • arious training opportunities for both product training and personal development.
