Service Engineer Electrotechnical

Electrotechnical – Emergency Power, Maintenance & Installation

What will you be doing?

As a Service Engineer, you're often on the road, with Rotterdam as your home base. You'll visit clients all across the Netherlands. Most of our team lives in the South-Holland area, but what matters most is that you feel at home in your role.

Your work will be diverse:

• Carrying out annual service checks for customers with maintenance contracts – inspect, measure, verify, and move on.
• Solving malfunctions – sometimes planned, sometimes unexpected. You don’t get flustered easily.
• Ordering, replacing and installing parts as needed.
• Performing maintenance and inspections in line with NEN 3140 and NEN 1010 standards.
• Supporting our project team during the installation of larger systems.
• Working with both Dutch- and English-speaking colleagues – we welcome everyone, and language is never a barrier here.

Depending on your experience, certifications (like VCA VOL), and personality, you can take on more senior responsibilities or join bigger projects as you grow.

What do you bring?

• A completed MBO-level education in Electrotechnical Engineering, or relevant hands-on experience.
• Interest in emergency power systems and technical maintenance work.
• Familiarity with NEN 3140, NEN 1010, and/or VCA VOL is a plus.
• A valid driver’s license (B).
• A flexible attitude – you understand that emergency power and service don’t stick to a 9-to-5 schedule.
