About the role
Are you passionate about electrical systems and eager to apply your skills in a cutting-edge industrial environment? We are seeking a driven Electrical Technician to join our high-tech production facility in Amsterdam.
In this role, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance automated production systems, ensuring all electrical and instrumentation equipment operates safely and efficiently. You will work with modern control and measurement technologies including sensors, transmitters, and PLC systems that monitor and regulate critical process parameters such as pressure, temperature, flow, and levels.
This opportunity is open to both seasoned technicians and ambitious juniors ready to grow their expertise.
Key responsibilities
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems.
Diagnose and repair system faults to minimize production interruptions.
Test, inspect, and calibrate measurement and control devices.
Assist with system upgrades, modifications, and the installation of new equipment.
Maintain precise documentation of maintenance, calibration, and repair activities.
Contribute ideas to improve processes, standardize procedures, and enhance efficiency.
Your profile
MBO-level technical diploma or equivalent in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
Foundational understanding of electrical installations, instrumentation, and industrial automation.
Experience in a production or process environment is a plus but not mandatory for juniors.
Familiarity with PLC and SCADA systems.
Valid VCA certification or willingness to obtain one.
Proficient in English and able to read technical documentation in Dutch (minimum B-level).
Accurate, safety-minded, and proactive team player.
