Your role as a Junior Cybersecurity Risk Consultant (3 - 6 months )

NewCold is looking to hire a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Cyber Risk Consultant to join our cybersecurity risk team on a 3-month temporary contract with the option to extend for another 3 months.

This role is ideal for an early-career professional with 1-2 years of experience on performing cyber risk assessments. We aim for a creative, hands-on and self-driven person with a passion for technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform cyber risk assessments of internal systems and / or applications and third-party vendors
• Identify and document of risk analysis, vulnerabilities, and control gaps.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT audit, risk management, or related areas (internship experience counts!).
• Strong communication skills.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, controls, and technologies (e.g., firewalls, encryption, access controls).
• Familiarity with cyber risk frameworks and methodologies (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27005, FAIR) is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and documentation tools.
• Highly proficient in English, any other European language is a plus

Please note this is a temporary vacancy. Options of employment: freelance, interim, short-term employment contract (no Visa sponsorship).
