Delivering mail and packages is a large-scale logistics operation, and as a mail sorter, you’re a crucial part of that process. You’ll be working at the PostNL sorting center in Zwolle, where there’s a great working atmosphere and a friendly team. However, the location is difficult to reach by public transport, so having your own transportation is highly preferred.
Working hours
In this role, you’ll work on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or from Monday to Friday from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
Your schedule at PostNL depends on your availability and the amount of work. Naturally, you’ll be scheduled as much as possible.

Employment agency Manpower is looking for evening shift sorters for PostNL in Zwolle.
As a mail sorter, your responsibilities include:
- Sorting mail using a machine or by hand
- Feeding incoming mail into the sorting machines
- Manually sorting mail that cannot be processed by the machines
- Checking whether mail has been sorted correctly
- Working in a PostNL sorting center
- Keeping your work area clean and organized
What you get in return:
- Gross hourly wage of € 14.40 (from age 18)
- Travel allowance in accordance with the PostNL collective labor agreement

- 40% evening shift allowance
- Part-time job of approximately 9 hours per week (depending on workload at PostNL)

Functie-eisen
- At least 18 years old due to late working hours
- Good command of Dutch and English, for safety on the work floor and proper sorting of mail
- Available for at least three shifts per week
- Physically fit, as the work involves standing for long periods and lifting containers of mail
- Able to apply for a Certificate of Conduct (VOG)
- Preferably have your own transportation (bicycle, scooter, or car) due to limited public transport options to the work location
