We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Senior Kubernetes Engineer to join our cutting-edge Platform Engineering team. This is a unique opportunity to make significant contributions to managing and evolving our sophisticated internal Kubernetes-as-a-Service (KaaS) offering. You will be instrumental in shaping the foundation of our application infrastructure, enabling our development teams to build and deploy services with speed, reliability, and scale. Your new team and office
You will be working within the KaaS team, a team that has been around for more than 2 years and is constantly working on building and improving our KaaS platform to be more user-friendly and faster for our developers, while also making it easier to maintain for us! We aim to accelerate all development teams within TechNL (Albert Heijn, Etos and Gall&Gall), so they can focus on what they do best, delivering high-quality customer value as fast as possible!
Our KaaS team is part of our Engineering Enablement Department. This department has a purpose to accelerate our teams worldwide. We strive to provide teams with a set of tools and services to enable them to unlock their full potential. In short, we enable them to deliver quality customer value quickly and autonomously. Our tools and services are built with and for our engineering community.
Our KaaS platform has been built and is in production, but improvements are needed to improve scale and reliability. You won’t do this alone but with your team of 7 platform engineers. As the senior of your team it is up to you to coach and guide them in their performance.
