For our client in Venlo, we are looking for a motivated Representative Planning & Customer Service! You will work full time (40 hours per week) and play a key role in the coordination and optimization of logistics processes. We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Representative Planning & Customer Service to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, coordinate shipment planning, and ensure smooth administrative processing of goods, including customs documentation. If you have experience in logistics, strong communication skills, and thrive in a dynamic environment, this position could be a great fit for you.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding all operational inquiries and issues

  • Ensure proper reception of drivers and manage the administrative processing of incoming and outgoing goods, including customs documentation

  • Coordinate the planning and scheduling of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders

  • Provide customers with information and advice on various types of shipments

Functie-eisen
  • MBO+ level of education and thinking

  • Knowledge of freight forwarding, transportation, and logistics

  • Experience in commercial administrative tasks

  • Strong problem-solving abilities

  • Proficient in using office applications

  • Familiarity with logistics automation tools and warehouse management systems

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of Dutch, German, or any additional language is an advantage

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, persuasive, with a proactive and customer-oriented mindset
